School on Robust Statistics: Foundations and Recent Developments

The summer school is a joint effort by ERS-IASC (European Regional Section of International Association for Statistical Computing), the University of Milano Bicocca and CLADAG.

The aim of this course is three-fold: present novel models to describe real-world phenomena, and their properties; study their behavior under different kinds of contamination; discuss their implementation through computational methods.

The lectures are addressed to Master, PhD students and postdocs.

The school will be hosted by the Lake Como School of Advanced Studies (Como, Italy).

Summer School on Clustering, Data Analysis and Visualization of Complex Data

The summer school is a joint effort by ERS-IASC (European Regional Section of International Association for Statistical Computing) ECAS (European Courses in Advanced Statistics) and CLADAG.

The course is intended to achieve postgraduate training in special areas of statistics for both researchers and professional data analysts. The focus is on classification and clustering methods, in conjonction with related visualization techniques, with particular emphasis on modern high-dimensional data sets (MHDS).

The summer school will be hosted by the University of  Catania (Italy).

The “Clustering and Classification” summer school – organised by the CLADAG – is designed to introduce clustering and classification methods to advanced undergraduate students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers that are interested in the topic. The summer school will take place in Rimini, at the Rimini Campus.
